Vaughan back for Terriers

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jose Semedo could return to the starting line-up against Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield.

Semedo has completed a three-game ban following his dismissal at Bolton last month and may go straight back into the starting line-up in place of Seyi Olofinjana, who is not fully match-fit.

Kamil Zayatte faces a late fitness test as he looks to overcome an ankle injury and fellow defender Martin Taylor is definitely out due to a similar problem.

Midfielder David Prutton is still struggling with the ankle injury that has kept him out since September as Wednesday chase their second win of the season.

Huddersfield's leading goalscorer James Vaughan is expected to return to the starting line-up following suspension.

Vaughan scored 11 goals in 14 appearances before sitting out a three-match ban for his dismissal at Leicester last month.

Town will also be boosted by the return to contention of striker Martin Paterson (hand) and midfielder Jonathan Hogg, who missed the home defeat to Birmingham due to a knee injury.

Skipper Peter Clarke remains sidelined with knee ligament damage as Town chase their second win in eight league matches.
