Sam Hutchinson among several Wednesday players facing fitness tests
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson is one of several players who will be assessed before the home game against Burton.
Hutchinson was forced out of Saturday's 5-1 home win against Norwich in the first half due to an unspecified injury, while Barry Bannan and Ross Wallace were withdrawn in the second period.
Midfielder Almen Abdi (knee) will be monitored after missing out at the weekend and defender Tom Lees remains sidelined with a similar problem.
Wingers Callum McManaman and Adam Reach, plus striker Steven Fletcher are in contention to start.
Burton pair Marvin Sordell and Ben Turner are both doubtful after sustaining injuries in Saturday's goalless draw at Bristol City.
Striker Sordell is struggling with an ankle problem and defender Turner is nursing a sore neck.
Winger Michael Kightly (hamstring) and forward Lucas Akins (calf) will also be monitored after missing out at the weekend.
John Brayford may not be risked after returning to action against City after a knee injury, but defender Damien McCrory (hamstring) is hoping to return to contention.
