Keane primed for Owls bow

Sheffield Wednesday's new signing Will Keane could make his debut for the club in the home game against Birmingham.

The 22-year-old striker joined last week on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season and Owls boss Stuart Gray must decide who will make way. Atdhe Nuhiu and Stevie May have formed his regular strike partnership this season.

Midfielder Sam Hutchinson misses out through suspension following his dismissal in the recent home defeat to Bolton, while fellow Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker is hoping to make his first start following two substitute appearances.

Defender Joe Mattock returned to the bench against Bolton as an unused substitute after an ankle injury and could make his first appearance since November.

Birmingham have no fresh injury worries as they look to hit back from Saturday's 2-1 FA Cup defeat to West Brom.

Clayton Donaldson and Demarai Gray could return to the line up after starting on the bench at the weekend.

Donaldson did not play while Gray impressed when he came on as a second-half substitute.

Matt Green and Gavin Gunning (both knee) remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.
