The 32-year-old centre-half was snapped up by Owls boss Brian Laws after leaving Cardiff at the end of last season, agreeing a two-year deal at Hillsborough. "It's a massive club and it's been outside the top flight for too long, and the chairman and the gaffer have said they want to give it a good go at getting into the play-offs next season," he told Wednesday's official website. "There is a lot of potential at this club and with three or four signings to add to that squad, there's a massive chance for us."
