Purse keen to return

Sheffield Wednesday skipper Darren Purse is hoping to return to the starting line-up for his side's home clash with Leicester. The central defender has missed the last two games due to a hamstring strain, but returned to full training this week and will be included in Alan Irvine's squad. Wednesday could also be boosted by the return of winger Jermaine Johnson, who has been out since mid-January, while striker Francis Jeffers could make his first appearance since the turn of the year. Both Johnson and Jeffers have struggled with hamstring problems. Midfielder Tommy Miller returned to the substitutes' bench last week following an injury lay-off and is hoping to play a bigger role, while defender Lewis Buxton misses out as he too is dogged by hamstring trouble. Irvine has no other new injury or suspension problems as his relegation strugglers look to bounce back from last week's 5-0 defeat at Reading.
