Defender Darren Purse is set to make a timely return to the Sheffield Wednesday starting line-up for the visit to Hartlepool.
Purse missed Tuesday night's 4-2 Carling Cup defeat to Scunthorpe with a calf injury but is likely to take the place of the suspended Richard Hinds.
