Purse aware of derby importance

Sheffield Wednesday skipper Darren Purse has spoken about the significance attached to this weekend's Steel City derby at Hillsborough. The Owls, who find themselves in the Coca-Cola Championship relegation zone with three games remaining, completed their first derby double in 95 years last season, but lost 3-2 at Bramall Lane in September. Purse said: "It's a massive local derby and we owe them one from earlier in the season, but the situation we're in as well at the moment makes it a must-win game - they don't come any bigger. "We've been putting in some half-decent performances in recent weeks and not getting the points we deserve, so it's definitely all about the points and not the performance in these last three games. "It's all about getting a result and hopefully the blue side of the city will have the bragging rights come Sunday evening." Purse added: "Obviously things haven't been going well for us throughout the season and we need to make it a good ending. hopefully that will start by beating Sheffield United and moving on to the last two games after that
