Owls wait on Johnson news

Sheffield Wednesday are waiting to learn whether Jermaine Johnson has played his last game of the season. The Jamaica international was forced off early on in the midweek draw at Preston with another hamstring injury and will miss Saturday's home clash with Derby. The 29-year-old, a regular for the Owls this season, was sidelined for six weeks in January after pulling his hamstring in his left leg and is waiting to learn the severity of the damage caused on Tuesday to his right leg. The Owls, embroiled in another relegation battle, have eight league games remaining and Johnson faces a fitness battle if he is to play his part.
