Sheffield Wednesday fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the league fixtures for the 2012/13 season since the club achieved promotion to the Championship in May and today it has been revealed that Dave Jones’ side will start their campaign on the road.
The Owls will make the short trip to Pride Park to face Derby County on Saturday August 18th with Birmingham the first visitors of the season to Hillsborough the following Tuesday.
Wednesday will travel to Bolton on Boxing Day and the Owls host Burnley on New Years Day. The Owls go to local rivals Barnsley on December 15th with the return fixture at S6 taking place on March 30th.
