Owls stars support hospital
As part of the players' deals with PUMA football boots, the trio will receive a cash bonus for every goal scored and will each hand this over to the hospital. Wednesday donated their shirt sponsorship to The Childrens Hospital Charity earlier this year.
Purse said: "Having seen what fantastic work the charity and hospital do first hand, Akpo and I were desperate to do something extra to help.
"When we went to the hospital to meet some of the patients it became apparent just how much the charity relies on 'regular giving' to run and hopefully we will be giving regularly.
"Akpo and I agreed between ourselves that we would do this, the money can be a great boost to the charity and Sean McAllister was keen to get involved too.
"It's a great gesture from him, as he is one of our youngest players and it just shows how keen he is on the work this club does for the local community."
