Owls snap up duo
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Premier League pair Joey O'Brien and Lee Nicholls on emergency loan deals.
Bolton midfielder O'Brien and Wigan's teenage goalkeeper Nicholls have joined the Owls until the end of the current campaign and will go straight into manager Gary Megson's squad for Saturday's league game at Dagenham.
Republic of Ireland international O'Brien, 25, made 15 appearances and scored two goals for the Owls during a loan spell back in the 2004/05 season.
Nicholls, 18, who came through the ranks at Wigan, has had loan spells with Hartlepool and Shrewsbury this season. He has also represented England Under-19s.
