Owls set to make ticket gesture

The fixture, initially scheduled for last week, was postponed due to snow and freezing temperatures and is now scheduled to take place during half-term week. The club will give one free ticket to anyone under 16 accompanied by a paying adult.[LNB]Owls chairman Lee Strafford, said: "We are delighted to give children the opportunity to come to Hillsborough to watch this local derby for free.[LNB]"The atmosphere has been outstanding at our recent home games and at the beam back of the match against Sheffield United.[LNB]"With the fixture against Barnsley being rescheduled for half-term we wanted to allow as many schoolchildren to come along and enjoy this game as possible so that local youngsters can enjoy the great feeling around the club at the moment."[LNB]The club have confirmed anyone who had previously bought a child's ticket for this fixture will be provided a free ticket for a future match at Hillsborough on production of their ticket stub.[LNB][LNB]
