The Owls' winless run extended to 10 games with Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Swansea and they are currently three points adrift of safety, a far cry from their pre-season expectations of a top-10 finish.[LNB]McAuley told Wednesday Player: "What we have to do is remove all excuses.[LNB]"Everyone has to be in it together because at the start of the season we all believed we would be challenging in and around the top 10.[LNB]"We need to re-align our end target now and every player in the squad needs to now be focussed on a different target, but if it's a new start in the second half of the season after Saturday, the last 23 games, we still need performances and we still need results which mirror a top-10 team."[LNB][LNB]
