MK Dons Vs Wednesday team news and preview After yet another week of off-field issues dominating the news surrounding the club  Alan Irvine and his squad will probably be happy to get back to business on the football field when the travel to MK Dons for a League One clash on Saturday. Wednesday were granted a 28-day stay of execution in relation to unpaid tax debts during the week meaning that they still have the threat of administration hanging over them if significant investment is not found soon. It is now Irvine's job to ensure that his teams' sole focus is on winning football matches and the Owls will be looking to extend a 3-match unbeaten run at Stadium MK. The Owls will travel south without Giles Coke as the midfielder serves a 1-match ban for accumulating 5 yellow cards so far this season. Darren Potter could replace Coke whilst or Marcus Tudgay available to fulfill a wide midfield role. Full-back Jon Otsemobor is unlikely to return from a calf injury but winger Jermaine Johnson could the feature. The Jamaican returned to training on Thursday and though he is unlikely to start he may take up a place on the bench. Clinton Morrison and Neil Mellor have formed a useful partnership up front in recent matches and are set to continue this at the weekend. MK Dons could welcome back central defender Sean O'Hanlon who was recently been sidelined with a stomach muscle injury. Winger Michael McIndoe, on loan from Coventry, was cup-tied for the midweek defeat to Stevenage but is available for the visit of the Owls. Strike pair Jermaine Easter and Aaron Wilbraham are unlikely to return from injury at this stage and fellow strikers Angelo Balanta and Jabo Ibehre are also doubtful. Despite these setbacks the Dons still have options in attack and top scorer Sam Baldock may be partnered by former Doncaster striker Lewis Guy. Wednesday have won their last 3 matches but two of these have been in cup competitions and before last weekends 2-0 home win against Rochdale the Owls had lost back to back league games, causing them to drop out of the play-off places. MK Dons will be reeling from a midweek defeat to Stevenage. The Dons were beaten at home on penalties and exited the F.A. Cup as a result, preventing a tasty 2nd round encounter with AFC Wimbledon in the process. The Dons have won 4 of their last 6 matches in the league and are unbeaten at home in League One this season, winning 6 of their 8 games at Stadium MK thus far. Since taking over the league position of Wimbledon FC, MK Dons have faced Sheffield Wednesday in competitive action on just 2 occasions with both matches ending in draws. The Owls were held to a 2-2 draw at the Dons temporary home of the National Hockey Stadium in January 2005 and the match at Hillsborough finished 1-1 in October 2004. Wednesday have played at Stadium MK once, winning a friendly against the Dons by 4 goals to 1 in 2008.
