Pre-season starts to take shape

Sheffield Wednesday's preparation plans for the 2013/14 season are taking shape with the confirmation of the clubs summer training camp as well as a number of friendly fixtures.

Wednesday's fitness regime will see them spend a week in Portugal commencing on July 14th. The week will include 2 matches, the first of which is yet to be confirmed but the second will see them face newly promoted Premier League side Hull City of July 20th.

Prior to the trip to Portugal Wednesday will face League Two side Scunthorpe, managed by ex-Owls boss Brian Laws, at Glanford Park on Saturday 13th July with a 3pm kick-off.

On their return from sunnier climes Wednesday make a short trip to another League Two side, Chesterfield on 27th July, also with a 3pm kick-off.
