Sheffield Wednesday travel to London on Saturday looking for 3 points in their bid to move away from the Championship relegation zone - providing the game beats the weather. Charlton have been working all week to clear snow from the stadium and surrounding areas but with more snow forecast to fall on Friday the match could still be in doubt.
Dave Jones’ side travel south boosted by two loan acquisitions that may well go straight into the squad. Left-sided midfielder Danny Pugh joins from Leeds United and Leroy Lita comes in from Swansea City.
With Jeremy Helan having returned to his parent club Manchester City there is a place in the team up for grabs.
Charlton have been boosted by the return to training of recently injured duo Leon Cort and Danny Haynes. However, with the team in good form at the moment defender Cort and striker Haynes may have to bide their time before getting back into the first team.
Charlton, who started with Yann Kermogant in a lone striker role in the victory at Blackburn last time out certainly have plenty of options up front as in addition to the fit again Haynes, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Ricardo Fuller are also available.
Wednesday have been in fine form on the road in the league of late. They have taken 10 points from their last 4 away games in the Championship though their last away match did result in defeat at the MK Dons in the F.A. Cup.
Charlton suffered a recent home defeat to Huddersfield in the F.A. Cup but they are undefeated in their last 4 Championship fixtures, winning the last 3 of these.
The two sides met just before Christmas when Wednesday ran out 2-0 winners at Hillsborough thanks to fine goals from McCabe and Helan.
