Owls duo to return
Sheffield Wednesday pair Marcus Tudgay and Chris Sedgwick are expected to return to the starting line-up at Colchester.
Striker Tudgay and midfielder Sedgwick were rested for the midweek Carling Cup win over Bury as manager Alan Irvine made six changes to the side that beat Dagenham & Redbridge on the opening day.
Irvine, who has no new injury or suspension problems, will be without winger Jermaine Johnson (knee) for another eight weeks and has several selection dilemmas as his side look to continue their winning run.
Irvine handed starts to Paul Heffernan, Daniel Jones, Darren Potter, Liam Palmer, Neil Mellor and Jon Otsemobor against Bury and must now decide who to keep faith with for the Owls' first away league clash of the season.
