Owls duo doubtful

Sheffield Wednesday pair Gary Madine and Giles Coke are injury doubts for the home clash with Notts County. Striker Madine faces a late fitness test after being forced off with a calf injury in the midweek win at Oldham, while midfielder Coke missed out on Tuesday night due to a hamstring strain. Clinton Morrison replaced Madine and could continue should the former Carlisle forward fail to make it, but manager Gary Megson also has the option of either Neil Mellor or Paul Heffernan, both unused substitutes in midweek. If he proves his fitness, Coke may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench after fellow midfielder Chris Sedgwick scored twice at Oldham. Winger Jermaine Johnson is in contention again following his month-long lay-off due to illness. The Owls, eight points above the relegation zone, last won at home in the league on December 11 against Bristol Rovers.
