Owls delight Megson

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson took great pleasure in his side's fourth straight home win - a 3-1 success over relegated Swindon. Neil Mellor scored twice to take his tally for the season to 19 with Darren Potter also on target for the home side. Jonathan Douglas was on the scoresheet for Swindon. Megson said: "It was a good performance. I thought that at times Swindon had players who put their foot on the ball without really threatening us. "I'm told that's the first time we've won four home league games on the trot in four-and-a-half years. It's about trying to set standards. You certainly can't fault the players for the effort and desire they're showing. "We scored a good first goal and the second was even better. For the third goal I was thankful it fell to Neil Mellor who showed the composure to finish well."
