Owls cut prices for season finale

Sheffield Wednesday have reduced all ticket prices to £10 for their potential Championship relegation decider against Crystal Palace at Hillsborough on the final day. The Owls have a four-point advantage over third-bottom Palace with six matches left and the club want to ensure a bumper crowd should their future hinge on their last fixture. Chairman Lee Strafford said: "This match against Crystal Palace could be remembered as a pivotal fixture in Sheffield Wednesday's history and we want as many people to be at the game as possible to help Alan Irvine and his team over the line. "Hopefully the team will have secured their Championship status before May 2 and we can enjoy the match against Crystal Palace as a celebration but, either way, we want to reward our supporters for their loyal support throughout the 2009/10 season as we look to a brighter future together. "Providing tickets for £10 and £5 [for children] for this match should make it accessible for most Wednesdayites and we hope to have a sell-out crowd for our final match of the season."
