Sheffield Wednesday reveal their Favourite Recipe for World Cup Charity Fundraiser David Smith, head of catering at Sheffield Wednesday has revealed his favourite recipe as part of a charity fundraiser by Woman & Home magazine – kebab style meatballs. Sheffield Wednesday’s recipe is one of a number of well-known football clubs who have shared their favourite recipes to support the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK as part of the World Cup fundraiser Woman & Home magazine is encouraging its readers to get cooking and have fun by hosting a World Cup Feast fundraiser for friends and family. By gathering a group together over food, hopefully some great football and inviting guests to donate to Bobby Moore Cancer Research UK, the aim is to raise money for the charity. Sheffield Wednesday is one of many well-known football clubs as well as footballers, celebrities, chefs and cricketers who have donated their favourite recipe to the cause. Founded by Stephanie Moore MBE in memory of her husband, the charity backs bowel cancer research and works to raise awareness of the disease.
