Owls boss hails club's investment
New chairman Lee Strafford and chief executive Nick Parker have overseen a major overhaul of the training resources since joining the board in January, while a second physio, a masseur and the appointment of a new head of recruitment puts the club on a par with their main rivals in the Championship.
Laws said: "I have already spoken to the players and what they have seen over the past few months has excited them for next season.
"They know a good, solid infrastructure that they believe in has been put in place.
"The players are also confident that we can improve on this year and if we can do that then we will be sniffing around the play-offs - that's credible and achievable."
