O'Connor's administration worry

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder James O'Connor said if the club falls into administration it would "slice us in bits". The Owls are hoping to conclude a deal to secure major new investment before facing a winding-up order over an unpaid tax bill of £600,000 in the High Court on Wednesday. If the club do not find a buyer in time their biggest creditors, the Co-operative Bank, may be forced to call in the administrators and invoke an automatic 10-point deduction. O'Connor said: "I hope we don't go into administration. I feel as if we're getting a bit of momentum. A points deduction would slice us in bits. "We (the players] are as much in the dark as anyone. We just hope that some agreement is reached and we don't go into administration. "It looks as if it's coming to a head on Tuesday. It's important from our point of view that we win games and concentrate on what we can affect and you hope everything else falls into place."
