Wednesday are just a point clear of the drop zone following back-to-back home defeats against Doncaster and Ipswich, while Reading are also struggling at the wrong end of the table and are only a point better off than the Owls.[LNB]O'Connor, who took over as captain in the absence of Darren Purse on Saturday, told the Sheffield Star: "We need six wins (for safety), whether that's here at Hillsborough or away. We need to get them as quickly as possible.[LNB]"It's a huge game for us at Reading, it really is. Hopefully we can do to them what Ipswich did to us."[LNB]O'Connor admits there is still plenty of room for improvement after the display against the Tractor Boys, and added: "We need to be braver on the ball, take an extra pass; it seemed we were almost panicking a bit in trying to get the ball forward too quickly.[LNB]"That extra pass could move them around a bit; I don't think we did that often enough. I'm sure it's something the manager (Alan Irvine) will say to us this week."[LNB][LNB]
