Morrison buoyed by winning return

Sheffield Wednesday defender Michael Morrison has spoken of his relief after his return to the starting line-up coincided with victory for Gary Megson's side. Morrison, signed from Leicester for an undisclosed fee in January, has been on the substitutes' bench in recent weeks but was back in favour for the midweek win at Oldham. Morrison said: "It's been frustrating because as a player you want to play every game, but we've had to chop and change it because we weren't getting results. "I was given a chance on Tuesday and now it's up to me to keep the shirt. Obviously that win will help me do that." The Owls will chase their first home league victory since December when they host Notts County on Saturday. Morrison added: "Hopefully we can come back to Hillsborough and get a win. It's important to string a number of victories together and we have a chance to do that this weekend against Notts County."
