Miller predicts bright Owls future

Miller, 30, signed a two-year contract with the Owls earlier this week to become Laws' second summer signing after the capture of Cardiff defender Darren Purse. The former Ipswich and Sunderland midfielder told the club's official website: "I've spoken to Brian Laws and he showed me the plans for the club and the future and I'm delighted to be part of it. "It's a massive club with massive potential. Obviously they've been in the Premier League before and that's where they want to get back to." Miller is hopeful that his experience can help those plans come to fruition and added: "It's a young squad and there are some good players coming through and the manager is trying to get a few new lads in with experience like myself and Darren Purse. "Hopefully we can help the club move forward and get back into the Premier League. I like to be a bit of a leader on the pitch and communicate and help the young lads push on."
