Megson to keep the faith

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson could name an unchanged side for the home clash with Plymouth. The Owls secured their first win under Megson at Carlisle last week and the former Bolton boss has no new injury or suspension problems. Midfielder Giles Coke is available again after a three-game ban, but is expected to start on the substitutes' bench. Defenders Lewis Buxton (hamstring) and Jon Otsemobor (calf) remain sidelined. Megson employed a 4-5-1 formation to good effect at Brunton Park, with Gary Teale and Chris Sedgwick out wide in midfield and Gary Madine operating as a lone striker against his former club. Megson must decide whether to retain the same formation at Hillsborough and, should he revert to a 4-4-2, it is likely that teenage midfielder Liam Palmer would make way, with Clinton Morrison, Neil Mellor and Paul Heffernan vying for a place up front alongside Madine. Wednesday currently lie in 16th place in the table, only six points above the relegation zone.
