Megson reveals half-time rant

Sheffield Wednesday boss Gary Megson revealed he had a blazing row with his players at half-time in the 4-1 defeat against Peterborough. The Owls manager saw his side concede three "easy" goals in the first 45 minutes and was quick to remind them at the interval. "A few home truths were said but I shouldn't have to do that before anybody's done anything wrong to get a reaction from them," he said. "I said to the players I don't normally like telling people what goes off, but there was an almighty bust-up at half-time because it's just not acceptable. "The goals that go in against us have to be seen to be believed, we were every bit as good or bad as Peterborough until they scored. "And then a header that has to be won and go forward, we drop it two yards in the middle of the field when we are one-nil down and then do it again at two-nil."
