Megson mulls over O'Brien selection

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson must decide whether new signing Joey O'Brien is up to two games in four days following his arrival from Bolton. Megson, whose side are only four points above the relegation zone after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Dagenham, has no new injury or suspension problems for the visit of Brentford. The Owls boss could be tempted to make one or two changes as they chase their first win in five games. O'Brien has not appeared for Bolton this season, but played the full 90 minutes on his debut at the weekend and could be handed another start. Fellow new loan signing, Wigan goalkeeper Lee Nicholls, was an unused substitute and looks set to be named on the bench again. Megson deployed a 4-5-1 formation at Dagenham - Gary Madine operated as a lone striker - and could revert to a 4-4-2, with Clinton Morrison, Neil Mellor, Paul Heffernan and Jermaine Johnson all pushing for a return to the starting line-up.
