McAuley bemoans postponement

McAuley, installed following the departure of Brian Laws, lost his first game in charge 2-0 at home to Swansea and then saw the Owls hit back to earn a point against leaders Newcastle in his next game.[LNB]After the match at Blackpool fall foul of the weather, McAuley said: "This is a huge loss for us because we took so many positives from the Newcastle game and we wanted to get straight back out there and play another game.[LNB]"The players were well prepared and we were all really looking forward to the game.[LNB]"But these things happen in football, so we just have to move on and prepare for the Crystal Palace match in the FA Cup on Saturday.[LNB]"We are all so disappointed, but we move on and start preparing for Palace."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
