The Owls have been linked with Stoke midfielder Tom Soares.[LNB]Laws refused to confirm who they are chasing but did admit they might also bring in a second player if the top-flight club subsidise the wages of the first.[LNB]He told the Sheffield Star: "It's only average wage money that I have to work with, so I have to wheel and deal and hope that the Premier League club will help me out financially.[LNB]"If they say 'yes', then possibly we may get a second, Championship player; if they say 'no', then their player would take up all the money."[LNB][LNB]
