Robson died on Friday morning aged 76 following a long battle against cancer. "Sir Bobby Robson was one of the most respected men in world football and proved to be one of the game's most successful managers through his long and impressive career," said Laws. "He was also a very good player before stepping into management and his success at both club and international level has been an inspiration to me and many other managers and followers of the game across the world. "Sir Bobby is also renowned as a true gentleman and his charitable work for cancer through the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation will live on and help many people deal with the difficulties of illness."
