Laws happy with pre-season tour
Wednesday beat Floriana and Dingli Swallows earlier in the week, but lost 5-4 on penalties to Birkirkara and then 1-0 to Sliema Wanderers at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
Laws told the club's official website: "I said this before Monday and I will say it again, there is no emphasis on simply winning games.
"It's all about building fitness and staying injury free and that's what we have done. We lost the first game on penalties and the second because of a mistake in the first minute.
"Other than that I thought we did ok. We are nowhere near the finished article, this was just another step forward to the start of the new season."
