Laws expects Gray to face Forest
The 35-year-old was forced off with a back problem after 10 minutes of the 3-1 victory at Plymouth.
But Laws believes the experienced wing-back is in with a chance of returning for the clash with Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough a week on Saturday.
Laws told the Sheffield Star: "He had a spasm in his back and simply could not carry on. "However, it has improved immensely this week and he is feeling a lot better.
"He has got good movement and I fully expect Michael to be OK and available to us by the time we are playing again next week."
