Miller, a free summer signing following his release from Ipswich in May, has been struggling with a thigh strain during pre-season. But he made his first Owls appearance in Tuesday's behind-closed-doors friendly against Bradford and after scoring in a 75-minute run out is expected to be included in Brian Laws' squad for the derby clash against Barnsley at Hillsborough. Defender Hinds, rested against Blackburn over the weekend due to a knock, was the other goalscorer in a 2-1 win, while midfielder Darren Potter came through 45 minutes after resting a thigh strain.
