Laws has come under scrutiny in recent weeks following a run of seven games without a win, but the Owls boss claims he is keeping well away from the newspapers.[LNB]Laws told the club's official website: "The good thing is I haven't read it and it's important I stay away from it as it can be a distraction.[LNB]"But it's a part of football you have to accept. People have their own opinions, it's newsworthy and people are looking for something that might not be there.[LNB]"But we're not in a position of strength. We're losing games and managers come under the microscope.[LNB]"What goes on in the media I can't affect and the only way I can stop it is by getting results and that's what we're trying to do and I don't give up easily."[LNB][LNB]
