Johnson calling for Wednesday momentum

Sheffield Wednesday matchwinner Jermaine Johnson is convinced the Owls can build on Saturday's derby win at Barnsley under new manager Alan Irvine. Johnson volleyed home a first-half winner in Irvine's first game in charge and the Jamaica international is full of confidence ahead of Tuesday's clash at Blackpool, where Wednesday will bid for back-to-back league wins for the first time this season. Johnson said: "It was a great start and I think the boys played really well. That win means a lot to us because we can start to push up the table. "We've been feeling confident in training all week and it was good for us to show that in the game. "If you want to win you have to put in the work and we got our rewards against Barnsley. "We showed what we can do and now we need to do that in every game. We need to go to Blackpool and put in a similar performance and I'm sure we can get another three points."
