Jeffers banned for Forest visit
The much-travelled 28-year-old sits out the second of a three-game ban for headbutting Port Vale skipper Tommy Fraser in the Owls' recent Carling Cup defeat.
Fellow forward Leon Clarke also remains sidelined. Clarke has recovered from a hamstring problem, but will not be risked by manager Brian Laws.
Akpo Sodje (groin), Tommy Miller (thigh) and Frank Simek all gained valuable game time for the reserves in midweek and will be included in the squad.
But Laws is expected to stick with the front pairing of Marcus Tudgay and Luke Varney, on loan from Derby, for the first of three league matches in the space of seven days.
