Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine is wary of the threat posed by promoted Dagenham & Redbridge in his side's opening game of the 2010/11 season.
The Owls will take on the Daggers at Hillsborough on August 7 and Irvine, rebuilding his squad after relegation, is expecting a tough test against John Still's side.
Irvine said: "I'm really looking forward to getting started, as will Dagenham, and this is a fantastic game for them on the first day.
"Managers will tell you they are always mindful of playing a newly-promoted club on the first day because they often carry their momentum of success of the previous season into the start of the new one.
"There will be a level of expectation on us but that is something that we must be prepared for throughout the season."
