Irvine targets two more wins

Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine believes his side need two wins from their remaining four games to avoid slipping into League One. Wednesday put on a fine second-half performance in the 1-0 home defeat to Bristol City, but Leon Clarke, Luke Varney and Marcus Tudgay all missed chances and the Owls dropped into the relegation zone as other results went against them. Irvine said: "Not getting any points makes safety harder. I still believe if we win another two of our games we have got a really good chance of staying in this division. "I'm optimistic we can win games. The remaining four games are all games that could go either way. "The players are going to need mental toughness and plenty of determination, desire and energy. We can still do it."
