Irvine targets four more wins

Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine has reminded his players they still need four more league wins if they are to escape relegation. The Owls have drawn their last three Coca-Cola Championship matches, but despite their improved performances still lie fourth from bottom in the table with eight matches left to play. Irvine, who has set his side a target of 52 points, said: "It's what I'm comfortable with, so I'm not going to change that at this stage. "If we don't need that many wins, then great, but I will still try and concentrate on us getting that many. "We could quite easily have won at the weekend against Derby, but we didn't and that's obviously disappointing, but it was an improved performance from say Doncaster and Ipswich. "And we are going to need some good home performances between now and the end of the season."
