Irvine set to shuffle pack

Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine is likely to make changes for the Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe. Tommy Miller is back in contention for the Owls after a return to training this week. The midfielder could start his first game of the season after recovering from a hamstring strain. Clinton Morrison missed Saturday's league clash with Brighton with a slight groin strain but should be available. However, fellow striker Neil Mellor will hope to retain his place in the starting XI after making his first league start at the weekend. The on-loan Preston frontman was promoted from the bench after opening his account for the club in the 1-1 draw at Colchester. Winger Jermaine Johnson is still ruled out with long-term knee ligament damage.
