Irvine rues Owls lapse

Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine was left unhappy with his side's lapse in concentration in the 1-1 draw at Colchester. The Us took the lead in the 50th minute through Andy Bond but were pegged back through Neil Mellor's late strike. Irvine said: "I didn't think there was a lot in it, in the first half. We probably had the better of the play and the better of the chances. "But we started the second half slowly and we got punished for it. That's something that we need to address because I wasn't happy with the way that we started the second half. "We will look at that and see how we can learn from that. We changed the system after that and that probably changed the game. "I thought from that point, we had Colchester on the back foot with the odd exception. The goal might have been scrappy but I'm happy to take any goal. I'll take 20 like that a season - if that happens, I'll be delighted."
