Irvine hands it to Clarke

Leon Clarke won the plaudits from manager Alan Irvine after his double helped Sheffield Wednesday bounce back from three successive defeats against Leicester. Clarke lashed home the opening goal from 20 yards in the sixth minute and steered home his fifth of the season just after the hour to inflict on the Foxes their first defeat since January 26. Irvine said: "Leon Clarke has got terrific ability. He is a really good finisher with both feet and has been training really well. "I was hoping that he would take that onto the pitch and he did do. "His first was absolutely terrific from his own point of view and his second was really well made by Jermaine (Johnson)."
