Irvine applauds `comfortable' win

Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine felt the 1-0 victory over Brighton was the least his side deserved. Giles Coke's first-half goal proved to be the difference between the two teams and maintain the Owls' unbeaten start to the season. Irvine said: "There were a lot of good performances. I thought we looked comfortable throughout the game and probably should have put the game to bed because we didn't make the most of some good chances. "We had to be right when we were out of possession and we had to be alert as well because they're a bright side. "The work we did tactically in training was applied very well by the lads."
