Hinds eyes return to winning ways

Richard Hinds admits the surge in form of all the teams around the bottom of the Championship has hampered Sheffield Wednesday's survival bid. The Owls have won five of their last nine games under new boss Alan Irvine but that has not transpired into a surge up the table with Reading, Ipswich and Scunthorpe all also picking up good recent results. Wednesday travel to Reading on Saturday knowing a win would move them above the Royals and Hinds is not underestimating the importance of the fixture. He told the club's official website: "We have a massive game on Saturday, we have to keep doing what we are doing which is working hard and being well organised. "It's a strange situation because we have won a lot of games recently but everyone around us has won games as well so it will be edge of the seat stuff from now until the end of the season. "But we have to put a run together again and with a few more wins we could move right up the league table."
