American investment group Club 9 Sports have confirmed that they remain committed to investing in Coca-Cola Championship club Sheffield Wednesday - even if the Owls are relegated this season. Club 9 managing partner John Prutch was at the win over Leicester last weekend and has reassured fans that his business plans to be involved at Hillsborough even if Alan Irvine's side slide into League One. A statement from the company said: "We want everyone to know that our desire to see a deal completed is as strong now as it has ever been. "The more time we spend at Hillsborough the greater the sense of promise we have about the club and its future. "It is our intention to work as hard as we can to complete and deliver the right investment for Sheffield Wednesday - no matter what division the club finds itself in for 2010/11. "Ideally we would like to complete a deal before the end of the season so as to have an immediate impact on Alan Irvine and his squad."
