Gray looking forward with Owls
Wednesday conceded three first-half goals at Bramall Lane on Friday night before launching a second-half fightback and scoring two of their own, but Gray admitted Brian Laws' side will be working on improving their defending this week.
Gray said: "There's no point in mulling over it. We had a chat in the dressing room about the game and how we conceded the goals and how we move forward.
"That's six goals conceded in two games and that doesn't make good reading.
"We will be back on the training ground trying to put these things right because we are scoring goals at the other end, now we have to shut up shot at the back."
