Following the dismissal of manager Dave Jones on Sunday Sheffield Wednesday have today confirmed that Stuart Gray has been put in temporary charge of the first team.
The former Southampton and Northampton manager will take control of the team for Tuesday evening's home fixture against Leicester City as the Owls search for a permanent replacement.
Assistant coach Paul Wilkinson has also been relieved of his duties at Hillsborough and follows Jones out of the exit door.
