Super semi-finals go head to head in poll

This weekend saw the F.A Cup semi-finals held at Wembley and with ESPN providing coverage of the great cup competition the broadcaster has been holding a poll for each round to find out which matches supporters feel have been the most memorable.

To coincide with the semi-final ties ESPN short-listed 5 final-4 fantastic matches for fans to vote on with Wednesday's 1993 tie among them. No one will forget what is widely acclaimed to be the biggest Sheffield derby ever played when 80,000 fans from the steel city descended upon Wembley to see the Owls take on the Blades for a place in the F.A. Cup final.

Chris Waddle's wonderful free-kick gave Wednesday a 2nd minute lead and the Owls bossed the first half only to see chances go begging before United veteran Alan Cork equalised shortly before half-time.

Alan Kelly in the Blades goal continued to defy the Owls and the match went into extra-time where Mark Bright's header sent the blue and white side of the city home happy.
